4 EMJMD Nanomed students are joining MINT

We are proud to welcome as students of the EMJMD Nanomed program :

Alma Athenas who received a BSc in Technology at Mexico's National Autonomous University. She will work for the next 3 months under the supervision of Professor G. Bastiat  and M. Sicot, on Formulation of nano crystals of ursolic acid for targeting methylguanine O6-Methyltransferase (MGMT) and it's downregulation, for the 2nd year of this master degree, she will join Pavia's University.

Luis Castillo who received a BSc in Pharmacy at University of Costa Rica. He will work for the next 3 months under the supervision of Camille Savary and Guillaume Bastiat on the formulation of lipid nanocapsules functionalized with NFL-TBS.40-63 peptide to target hepatoma cells. For the 2nd year of this master degree, he will join University of Pavia, where he will course the emphasis on nanobiotechnology.

Marlon Gancino who received a BSc in Biomedical Engineering at Yachay Tech University, Ecuador. He will work for the next 3 months under the supervision of Guillaume Bastiat and Patrick Saulnier on innovation regarding hydrogels of nanoparticles based on nonconventional formulation strategies.

Deborah Nicdao who received a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of the Philippines - Manila. For the first year of this master's, she will work for the next 3 months under the supervision of Dr. Emilie Roger on the new formulation for oral peptide administration. For the 2nd year of this master's degree (6-month internship), she plans to join a laboratory that explores the delivery of biomolecules for the treatment of chronic or rare diseases.
